Tomo has authored a variety of instructional books — most of them in Japanese. However, Tomo believes that English-speaking people can learn much from his “Solo Etudes” book, pictured below. This book features charts, including guitar tablature, for Tomo’s original compositions.

Tomo has created and/or co-produced many instructional DVDs with Rittor Music and others, in both Japanese and English. One English-language DVD that many players find particularly helpful is “Accelerate Your Guitar Playing” featuring Tomo Fujita. Since this DVD was a joint project of Berklee Press, Rittor Music and Hal Leonard Corporation, it is relatively easy to find, for anyone who would like to check it out.
